Primates of Uganda are dotted in several eco systems, our 6 Days Uganda Primate Tracking Safari will lead you to Uganda’s best points to see primates, expect to see Chimpanzee and Mountain gorillas, they live freely within the protected areas, without being captivated these have been habituated to continue doing their activities even while people are watching them. You will have a chance to see several wildlife and the scenery of Uganda as our route course visits more than one national conservation area. Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and staying in Entebbe

You will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to the accommodation that has been booked, take your time to relax as we prepare for the great primate adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, it is a popular home for Chimpanzee, also known as a primate capital because of its resident species, the park hosts 13 kinds of primates which can be viewed on a visit arriving in time for lunch, check in and afternoon relaxation

Day 3: Primate Tracking – Chimpanzee, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early breakfast, after which we will drive to the visitor center for chimpanzee tracking, a lovely welcome from the olive baboons will be just a good welcome to the vent, a briefing from the Uganda wildlife team is conducted after which you head to the forest for 2-3 hours in search of chimpanzee, we return to Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park for tree climbing lions.

Day 4: Uganda Primate Tracking – Gorilla, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Following a morning meal, by 8:00am we will be at the park headquarters to track mountain gorillas, it takes 2 or more hours doing the activity, the terrain is tough however upon meeting the mountain gorillas the hike is worth doing, returning to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, it is Uganda’s deepest lake formed as a result of volcanicity, we arrive for an optional canoe ride to the animal island.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

We wake up to a morning breakfast, after which we will continue our journey to Lake Mburo national park, we arrive on hot lunch, checking and an afternoon game drive in the park the game tracks allow visible views of wild animals including zebras, elands, African buffaloes, Topi, Uganda Kobs and amazing scenes of the Lake.

Day 6: Departure, end of the 6 Days Uganda Primate Tracking Safari.

On this lovely day we will transfer to Entebbe for departure after taking something to eat in the morning, stopping over at the equator for a picture moment and buying some fruits in the local market.
