Chimpanzees are man’s closest relatives, sharing up to 98% of the human DNA, they are found in several ecosystems, on our 5 Days Wildlife Adventure in Rwanda and wildlife views in Akagera National Park, we will encounter them in the Nyungwe Forest National Park, it is home to 13 kinds a known primate destination with thousand troops of the Black and white colobus monkey. Akagera National Park is the only savannah park of Rwanda uniquely displaying wildlife species like elephants, giraffes among others, and several bird species.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Genocide visit and Transfer to Akagera National Park
You will be welcomed by our company representative, who will meet greet, brief you on the day’s activities, we will drive to the Gisozi Rwanda genocide to pay tribute to the Rwandans who lost their lives during the tribal wars in 1994, we will after drive to Akagera National Park for 2 and half hours arriving for a relaxed evening as we wait for the following day adventures in Rwanda

Day 2: Game Drives and Boat Cruise along Lake Ihema
Following breakfast, we will embark on a game drive in search of wildlife, especially the early morning risers expect to see elephants, Buffaloes, Masai giraffes, impalas like bush bucks, water bucks, returning for lunch, and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Ihema, expect more to wildlife ike Hippos, crocodiles, including water birds.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park for the Wildlife Adventure in Rwanda
We will take some thing to eat and drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, stopping by the Nyanza province en route for historical recaps, lunch in Butare, and proceed to the home of our known relative for an overnight relaxation

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Chimpanzee tracking begins at the visitor center by a briefing from the park rangers, we will then embark on a forest walk in search of the primates, they are sound loud you will hear them at a distance before even meeting them, the one hour assigned to meet the chimpanzee has the biggest memory of an African safari, you will have the chance to meet the young stars bouncing up and down trees without minding human presence, we return for lunch and proceed for an afternoon Canopy walk, the long suspended bridge is lovely and lively, you will have a chance to view the magical forest from the top.

Day 5: Colobus Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Kigali, end of the Wildlife Adventure in Rwanda
We will wake up for tea or coffee, drive to the park in search of the colobus monkeys, same as the chimpanzee they are tracked in the morning hours, it is led by a ranger to meet the black and white uniform monkeys, returning to continue our journey to catch our international flight back home in Kigali.
