Volcanoes National Park protects the steep rain forest displayed on the great Virunga volcanic region, it is known for the Mountain gorillas which live freely in the conservation area, besides the gorillas, you will find Golden monkeys, lovely and very lively species living in the bamboo forest vegetation region, your 4 Days Double Primate Tracking Safari will amazingly give you beautiful visits to bot primates, you will not only stop at these but will have a chance of seeing more wildlife, plant and tree species, butterflies and birds. Day 1: Kigali city tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will be welcomed by our representative who will meet you from the pick-up point, brief and begin our city tour, we shall visit the Rwanda memorial genocide in memory of people who lost their lives to cultural wars of 1994, visit the local market, we will have an early lunch and drive to the park for a relaxed evening or an optional cultural performance

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

We will wake up to tea or coffee and do the days activity, is after a briefing from the park ranger on the does and don’t while with the gorillas, in groups of eight per gorilla family, you will start the hike, it takes 3 or more hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved, returning for a relaxed evening as you meditate on the experience

Day 3: Double Primate Tracking – Golden Monkey, The Dian Fossey Hike

After breakfast, we will gather around the park headquarter for another primate tour, the golden monkey has been listed as one of the critically endangered species by the IUCN, it can only be found in the Virunga volcanic region, we return for lunch and embark on an afternoon hike at the Karisoke research center to the Dian Fossey tombs, and American primatologist who lived here and her love for primates was unexplainable.

Day 4: Departure, end of the 4 Days Double Primate Tracking Safari

We will have a relaxed breakfast and later drive to Kigali for departure, we will have a picture moment to capture the backdrop of the land of a thousand hills.
